Kiara my lady, queen of my heart
The jewel I hold in my arms
I never imagined you’d make me your own
I’ve fallen to your charms

With your voice as soft as snowfall
With your heart, a molten flame
With the passion that unites us,
These two souls that are the same

I give myself to you my love
To do with as you might
I only ask to sing to you
And hold you through the night

I adore your gentle spirit
And your love for those you rule
I wonder at your beauty
And how you could love this fool

You are always fair and caring
And stand for what is true
And God it seems has blessed me
In that you should love me too

I know someday you’ll leave me
And be married to the king
Duty can be cold sometimes
But I shall not heed its sting

I will love you for what time we have
‘Til your true love calls you home
No fate could take these days from me,
These nights we spend alone

In years to come, if you are sad
And the night seems cold and blue
You’ll hear a song from the sea at night
I still shall sing for you

Kiara my lady, queen of my heart
The jewel I hold in my arms
I never imagined you’d make me your own
Let’s sleep until a new day dawns
This is something I wrote a long time ago for a woman I had a romantic roleplay going on with. I was a bard, she was the queen, so naturally I wrote poetry for her. I started developing a crush on her actually, so it was pretty easy to write romantic poetry for her.

I never actually told her that I had a crush on her. I wonder if she felt the same...
